Becoming a Christian

Bible Hour

or Christ Among Men in the Outdoors, is a fairly new work we are undertaking at Central.

As with most all of Central's programs, we are trying to draw people to a closer walk with their creator through this program known as C.A.M.O. However, we not only appeal to those that have a love for our LORD, but also a love for being outdoors, GOD's nature, and enjoying fellowship with each other while teaching our friends about the sport each one of us enjoy outside. Whether that be hunting, fishing, golf, or some form of ballgame, the possibilities are endless!

Not only do we get together to enjoy "play" time together, but we also enjoy study time in God's word together. We feel this may open doors to some "outside the faith" that would not feel as threatened in a "no pressure" atmosphere.

We see through God's word how that Jesus approached men when He said "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19).It is clear that our Creator loved the nature that he had created through seeing in the written Word of the places that Jesus frequently visited, ex.- the mountain (Matthew 5:1), the garden (Matthew26:36), the sea (Mark 1:16). These are just a few examples we find of Jesus taking refuge, comfort, and being drawn closer to His Heavenly Father, just as we should.

So, we welcome men to come experience the peace that comes by being close to GOD through nature.

Who knows, you might even find a good fishing spot as we are made into "fishers of men" !

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, ......."
(Romans 1: 20)
